Personal information

Privacy policy

How information is used in the Parity Registrar service. This policy applies to registrar.parity.pro and should be updated as services and processors change.

1. Data controller and contact

2. Information processed

Depending on your use of the site, this may include email and phone number, account details, orders and payments, offer and bid history, information required for domain registration or transfer, security logs including IP address, browser technical data and essential session identifiers.

Payment card details are entered with the payment provider; the service processes transaction status and references rather than full payment card details.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Accounts, offers, bidding, purchases and domain transfer - contract performance or pre-contractual steps.
  • One-time alert that purchasing a specific domain has resumed - only after explicit opt-in and email verification. This does not subscribe you to newsletters or general marketing.
  • Accounting records and statutory requirements - legal obligation.
  • Protection against abuse, fraud, attacks and claim handling - legitimate interests, subject to your rights.
  • Personalised advertising and non-essential tracking - only where permitted by law and with the required consent.

4. Service providers and recipients

Service delivery may involve hosting providers, domain registrars and registries (according to the TLD), Stripe for payments, transactional communications providers, anti-abuse services and accounting-related suppliers.

If Google advertising is enabled on eligible pages in future, the Google CMP will provide details of advertising partners and consent choices.

5. International transfers and retention

Domain registration is international, and some providers may operate outside your country. Applicable data transfer safeguards should follow relevant laws and processor agreements.

Information is retained as needed to provide services, address claims and fulfil legal obligations. Actual periods depend on the record type and applicable laws. Essential sessions expire in line with site settings.

For one-time domain availability alerts we keep encrypted email, domain ID, price at signup and consent/verification records. Unconfirmed requests are deleted after 7 days, confirmed after 180 days, and notified or withdrawn requests 30 days after status change. Email is used only for verification and one availability message, not a newsletter. You can withdraw consent using the email link or by contacting us.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing and complain to the relevant supervisory authority.

7. Cookies and advertising

The service uses essential session and form-protection identifiers. Information about Google advertising technologies and consent management appears in the cookie policy.
